Sharing your Jerry”s stories.
Posted by jerrygarcia86 in Uncategorized on November 24, 2010
I am collecting stories of my readers, fellow Deadheads, Merry Pranksters, Hippies, who have had close encounters with Jerry Garcia/ and Grateful Dead. My recent experience in the Bay area have convinced me to ask for this help from my friends. I am told on a frequent basis that I am a very close lookalike of Jerry, or maybe his brother. But really, I am using this status to make my online writing a special purpose.

Help this old Hippie type, semi-retired old Professor, a frequent Jerry Garcia lookalike to build a very fun blog page. Last weekend, I went to Cal. vs. Oregon football game at Berkeley. Wow what a flashback with all the Oregon Duck fan who commented on my Jerry Garcia lookalike qualities. Had great idea to make my online friends to send me stories about their Jerry encounters of the 3rd dimension, or remember the Kool-aid acid test, or that stoned out performance in Eugene, Portland, at Fillmore, etc.

Going to SF Giants World Series parade today, maybe this experience with lessen the pain of yesterdays’ election.

Wow, the Giants victory parade is going to be a real treat. They will follow the same path as last World Series, Giants coming to SF . The good karma for the Bay area isn’t able to battle all of negative news from the rest of USA. One of the candidate’s for CA governor is the biggest spender for all campaign ( hopefully, she won’t be able to buy the election. Also, a wonderful liberal Barbara Boxer will be able to retain the senate position. But the ” only in CA”, Prop. 19 is going down to defeat, oh crap. Our state could have used the tax revenue to rebuild the school, parks, and aging infrastructure. Back to work, again Go Giants!!!
